To season and preserve the natural luster and timeless quality of the timbers, use Big Chop timber board nurturing cream made from beeswax, pure lemon oil, mineral oil and carnauba wax.

Maintaining & Caring for Your Big Chop Board

To clean your Big Chop: brush of any loose bits. As our timbers have antibacterial properties just wipe the surface with a well wrung out dish cloth. Note: water and timber boards are not friends. Store boards flat to help prevent warping.

If your board look stained, liberally sprinkle your board with salt or Bi-Carb Soda. Using a lemon half with the cut side down, scrub the surface, rubbing all the salt or Bi-Carb Soda into the board. Let sit for 5-10 minutes, and then scrape the excess off, give the board a good clean with a wrung-out cloth, leave to dry. When the board is completely dry wipe sparingly The Big Chop “Timber Nurturing Cream” and start the seasoning process again.
