Courtesy of a dear customer, we’ve been able to show you this little lifecycle of a well-used, well-loved, and well-seasoned pan!

The pan comes lightly oiled when new, protecting the precious cooking surface. It starts as a lovely golden bronze colour, but don’t fall in love with that… it will darken as you develop that seasoned surface.

Our customer has done a brilliant job of seasoning the pan on the left, for a friend! (Lucky friend!!) 🤗

The pan on the top-right is a few years old now, is used every day and the precious seasoning is now performing perfectly. Here’s a quick cleaning checklist to ensure your skillet lasts a lifetime:

🍳 Clean while warm (even if you need to reheat on the hob)
🍳 Ensure you use hot plain water and scrub with a wooden spatula to scrape off the leftovers
🍳 No detergent needed, rinse, wipe with a cloth 2-3 more times
🍳 Once clean add a few drops of oil and wipe with a paper towel to season
